"Do remember they can't cancel the Spring"

On Friday, all across school we were celebrating our 'creative arts day'.

We decided to look closely into the work of the artist, 'David Hockney'.

David Hockney was born in 1937 in Bradford, England. During lockdown, the 82 year old artist wanted to spread some hope with his Spring artwork. He used an ipad to create an intense observation of daffodils. He released his work with a quote which reminded us, "Do remember they can't cancel the Spring".

It was so lovely to see the creative artwork produced in each year group and nice to see that everyone was inspired by Hockney in a different way.

Enjoy looking thorough our gallery of Spring artwork.
