Julia Donaldson Week

We are missing reading you stories, so this week we are sending you stories by one of our favourite authors. Then you can complete the activity!

Today's Julia Donaldson story is Superworm. Click the link below to listen to the story:

DT- Build a bug hotel for Superworm

Using different materials from around your house and garden, can you make a home for Superworm and his insect friends? You could use twigs, toilet/kitchen rolls, pine cones, cardboard, leaves and whatever else you can find. Try to make lots of hidey-holes for the bugs to go in! Think carefully about how to attach your materials together- you could try glue, string, tape or staples. When you have finished, place your bug hotel in a quiet and shady part of your garden. Observe your bug hotel to see what visitors you get! Don't forget to send us a picture on the Kidzone.
