This half term, we are exploring the work of Roald Dahl!

We love stories! And we especially love the weird and wacky stories of Roald Dahl.

Why not take a tour of the Roald Dahl Museum here:

This week we are focusing on The BFG.

Each day we will be learning about a different part of the story and there will an activity too.

Here's today's challenge:

Listen to Chapter 11 of the story:

In these chapters, the BFG is being bullied. It makes him feel very sad.

Imagine that you are Sophie.

Can you come up with suggestions for the BFG as to what he could have done to avoid this bullying situation?

Can tyou think of anything he could do to avoid being bullied in the future?

Here are some ideas:

• Responding with humour

• Walking away

• Finding a different friend to play with

• Telling a teacher

• Telling a parent or guardian

• Speaking up on behalf of other children

Create a poster showing the BFG what to do.

Don't forget to post your work in the Kid Zone.
