Year 5 Reading for September

Here are the links to the texts you must read before returning to school in September.

Jaberwocky poem:

The Ickabog:

Wider Curriculum  -  Wacky Sports Day!

Following on from yesterday, it is time to let your imagination run wild!

Imagine a Sports Day with no rules and no limits. Don't just imagine it - design it!

You could take the same themes we have such as throwing and running and make them crazy!

You could invent totally new games eg who can throw one baked bean the furthest or jelly relay.

Your ideas are bound to be far wackier and crazier then ours but we can't wait to see what you decide!

Please upload your ideas onto Kidszone for us all to see.

Active Fusion PE

Active Fusion have created some learning resource packs for PE lessons, designed to be delivered at home.

These are suitable from Early Years, right up to Year 6 and include everything that you need to develop skills in a range of areas of PE at home.

Please see the link below for KS2:

Links to EYFS and KS1 can be found on the Whole School Blog

Enjoy and have fun!
