Foundation Stage Assembly

Yesterday we had a special assembly in Foundation Stage. Tony is the Children & Families Team Leader, River Idle Benefice of churches. He came and talked to the children about their experience of Christmas. The theme for his assembly was 'journeys'. He took the children in a snake around the classroom and asked them to spot anything that they thought was 'amazing.' Tony encouraged the children to think of why they thought something was amazing. The children really enjoyed Tony's visit. He even stayed to play with us for a little bit after. Hopefully we will be able to welcome Tony back to do assemblies for us in the future.
