Admission Arrangements
At Bawtry Mayflower, our catchment area is Bawtry and Austerfield. If you live in either of these places, your child will be guaranteed a place here at Mayflower. You will need to apply through Doncaster Council Admissions Team.
If you do not live in either Bawtry or Austerfield, we do currently still have places in the following year groups:
Nursery
Reception
Year 1
Year 2
Year 5
If you would like to apply for a place in any of these particular year groups, please contact your Local Authority Admissions Team to make an application.

In preparation for those starting Nursery or Reception in September 2025, we will be holding some open days as follows:
Thursday 26th September 2024 1.30pm
Saturday 5th October 2024 at 9am
Wednesday 16th October 2024 at 5pm

Nursery Applications for September 2025 – closing date 6th October 2024. We currently do accept early starters for our Nursery class - this applies to children who turn 3 years old either by 31st December 2024 or 31st March 2025. If this applies to your child, you will need to apply for their place in Nursery for September 2025 and then we will be in touch regarding early starter places.
Reception Applications for 2025 – closing date 15th January 2025
