Sculptures in KS1

This afternoon the children worked collaboratively to practise their first model of an autumnal tree. We activated our prior knowledge from last weeks lesson focussed all about the sculptor Joan Miro. The children took inspiration to create their own demo types of their trees. The children chose their materials and their methods to create their 3D structure.  It was lots of fun!
