Dinner money payments
If your child is in Year 3 and above and has a school dinner which you pay for, please remember that these meals need to be paid for in advance. Payments can be made as far in advance as you wish. The amount paid then remains on your child's dinner money account on ParentPay and each time they have a school meal, the cost for that meal is deducted from the balance.
There is a facility to use Auto Top-Up on ParentPay, whereby you can set an automatic payment to the value of your choice to come out of your bank account when your child's dinner money account reaches a limit that you specify. This then ensures you don't have to remember to top up your child's dinner money account, as the system will do it automatically for you when required.
If you currently owe any dinner money, please ensure you log in to ParentPay as soon as possible please to clear the outstanding balance.
Extra PE day for Year 5/6
Could the Y5/6 children please come in their PE kits on a Tuesday and Wednesday from now on please, as they are having an extra PE lesson each week.

Message from our PTA
This is a shout out to anyone who feels they could spare a little bit of time to help out with the PTA!
We have LOTS of exciting things planned for the rest of the school year, but we need some extra support as a couple of the events will need many hands on deck!! You won't be roped into anything you don't want to do, and it can take up as much or as little time as you can spare. We're a friendly group who don't take things too seriously, and the more people we have on board the easier things are! Plus, it is pretty rewarding to see the effort we make turned into smiles on the kids faces. So, with this in mind, our next PTA meeting will be held on Monday 30th January (venue TBC) at 6.15pm and we would LOVE to see new faces!
If you're interested in volunteering and would like to know more or have a chat before hand, please drop Kirsty Ellis, our chair, a message on 07787 570844.
Hopefully see you all soon!

News from around school
This week in Foundation, Tony from St Nicholas' Church came in to deliver an assembly to the children. The theme was 'Journeys' and the children went on a journey around the classroom looking for things that were amazing
We have had some new children starting in our Nursery this week and they have settled in really well. Our existing nursery children, together with our Reception children, have been making them feel really welcome and have been super role models for the new children. We look forward to getting to know the children and their families over the coming weeks and months.
This week Year 1/2 have been revisiting the topic 'fractions'. In Miss Cruickshanks group, we were really naughty and wrote on the tables. It was really fun!
