Consent forms, together with an information leaflet, will be sent home with your child at the beginning of next week. Could we please ask that the completed forms be returned as soon as possible to your child's class teacher.
The deadline for forms to be returned is Friday 21st October please.
We would appreciate it if the forms could be fully completed whether or not you wish your child to have the vaccine, so that we have a complete set of forms to give to the vaccination nurses when they arrive.

News from Year 5/6
Last week, Year 5/6 visited Lincoln Castle. They had a fantastic time and wanted to share some of their thoughts about their visit with us.
Harry - I liked the part where they told us about the breaks that the prisoners had. I thought they would have stayed in their cells all day.
Sebastian - My favourite part was when we played a game in the prison. It was a prison escape game where we had to find 12 items.
Jacob - The prison escape game was fun. There were 2 team captains who rolled the dice and then everyone had to find cards that had items on them. I also enjoyed the walk round the outer wall of the castle. We went down some stairs and there were some carvings on the wall. There were also some stocks which were used for public humiliation.
Scarlett - I liked walking round the castle. There was an area where people who were in debt could do jobs like laundry, cleaning and sewing to pay back their debt.
Congratulations!
Well done to Ellis and Joe, both in Year 6, who recently passed their grading in martial arts and have now both been awarded their purple belts. Well done Joe and Ellis - what a fantastic achievement! You should both be really proud of yourselves for all the hard work you have put into your martial arts lessons.
We shared on one of our previous blogs that Esme in Year 4, her brother Zach in Year 6 and their family had climbed Snowdon and had their sights set on Ben Nevis next. Well, they've done it! They reached the summit of Ben Nevis during the summer holidays and wanted to share this with us. This means that the family have now done all 3 national peaks. Well done to you all - it's an amazing achievement and even more special that you've done it as a family.
Rose in Year 2 took part in a dance show with her dance group last weekend. Rose had a fantastic time - well done Rose! Thank you for sharing this with us.
It must have been the weekend for dancing last weekend, as Isabella in Year 1 took part in a dance competition. She won a medal for both her Ballet and Modern solo performances. Isabella was invited to dance again in the adjudicators showcase with only 6 children from the whole competition and won a trophy for her Ballet - she can’t wait for the next competition in 2 weeks!
