World Book Day Thursday 2nd March 2023

This year, the school reading champions have chosen to go with a bedtime story theme for World Book Day next Thursday, 2nd March.

The children are invited to come to school wearing their pyjamas with their favourite bedtime story and teddy in tow!

Throughout the day, adults will share their favourite stories with the children and the children will share their favourite stories with their friends! For some fun during the week of World Book Day, the staff and children at Bawtry Mayflower will take part in a Masked Reader competition. Keep an eye out on our blog for this!
